Arrival in Paris

 We arrived in Paris on Valentine's day after an eleven hour flight direct from Bengaluru to Paris.  The apartment we had booked wasn't ready yet, so we stayed overnight in a hotel near the Gare du Nord.

A change of plans...While in Bengaluru, Joe got sick and we decided that rather than seeking medical attention in Indian, we would change our plane tickets and head to Paris, where we have been able to rent an apartment in the Latin Quarter near the Sorbonne.  Joe has recovered, but I got sick and have been taking it easy.  So now we begin a French adventure.

Saint Tropez ... and another Castle

 Driving further west along the mediterranean, we visited the town of Saint Tropez.  This town was famous as a playground of the rich in the 1920s.  It later became a haven for modern artists.
