Delhi Day One - A Common Humanity

We toured the Indian National Museum.  There was a gallery devoted to intricate wood carvings.  Traditionally wood has been honoured by Indians and they will often touch it for good luck.  How similar to the tradition we have of saying, "Touch wood," for good luck.  This concept is found all over the world.  I was reminded once again how humanity has more in common than differences.  If we could only remember that, wouldn't the world be a better place?
