Menton and area

 We stayed for a couple of nights in Menton which is a French town on the Mediterranean right beside the Italian border.  Our hotel was right on the water.  One evening, we felt like Italian food, so we drove to Italy for dinner to a restaurant which serves only homemade pasta.  




Orange trees everywhere.  Menton is known as the Lemon Capital of France.

Everywhere there are amazing churches.  



A 1000 year old olive tree.  

On the left is a one person electric car.  Lots of these in the towns.

A change of plans...While in Bengaluru, Joe got sick and we decided that rather than seeking medical attention in Indian, we would change our plane tickets and head to Paris, where we have been able to rent an apartment in the Latin Quarter near the Sorbonne.  Joe has recovered, but I got sick and have been taking it easy.  So now we begin a French adventure.

An Ambitious Reading List.

  During the time off, I plan to read a number of books.  The list is divided into the categories of: Spiritual Development, Team Building, Fiction (Books that have been on my bedside reading table for a while.), India in General, Hinduism, Church Development, and Other Books (Such as catching up on some computer related materials.).  Click here to see the list.
